Flash Metals USA announced today the appointment of Gregory L. Bowman to its Board of Advisors. Mr. Bowman brings a distinguished record of leadership in national security, energy innovation, and government strategy, with a career spanning both public service and the private sector.

Mr. Bowman currently serves as Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Vice President, National Security Solutions at Siemens Government Technologies, Inc., the U.S. government arm of Siemens. In this role, he leads strategic growth initiatives by aligning Siemens’ advanced technologies with the complex needs of government customers in energy, automation, and digitalization.

Prior to his leadership at Siemens, Mr. Bowman served over 25 years in the U.S. Army, culminating in his role as Strategic Military Law and Policy Advisor/Legislative Counsel to the Secretary of the Army—a position he was selected to establish and held for more than seven years, advising two Secretaries and two Acting Secretaries of the Army.

Mr. Bowman’s career reflects a deep understanding of the intersection between technology, policy, and operational readiness. His legal and strategic acumen—combined with hands-on leadership across military and global infrastructure initiatives—will provide invaluable guidance to Flash Metals USA as we scale critical materials recovery solutions and contribute to strengthening the U.S. industrial base.

 Mr. Bowman is a graduate of Longwood University and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law. He holds advanced degrees in military law and strategic studies, and is a member of the Virginia State Bar with admissions to practice before both the Supreme Court of Virginia and the Supreme Court of the United States.
